I get you on the facebook thing. My 5 year old has asked for one and on her play laptop she pretends she is on facebook. It is sad really

Facebook pages and cell phones are quite the hot topic for the 5th graders in my life. Of course, the moms with older kids tell me stories that make me want to lock my guy up until he's 18.

Pinkus wants very little to do with FB - thank goodness! (he is a total nerd)

September is going to be an awesome month!!

I don't think fall will ever come to south TX!

I'm hoping that all this social networking is a fad that will be gone by the time my kiddos are tweens. ;-)

So that little sick leave last week. . . um yeah, I forgot about Labor Day. Oops!

Guess I won't be playing with you guys on that Friday.

Drama seems to start younger and younger these days! Tell your kids they're saving themselves A LOT of stress by NOT having social network contact pages!!! :)
And I have the patent on the Crabby Ass post its, since I AM THE CRABBY ASS!!! But it's really not ME, it's the baby! :) I swear!

Love your note to Kooper. A friend told me yesterday her little brother's are on FB and they are 10 and 12. I like Dual Mom's plan..no password, no FB.

There was some major third grade drama at my son's school last year due to facebook. WTF?! No social networking for my boys either. Though my 6 year old is convinced he needs a cell phone. Not gonna happen. Possibly ever...

Crispy Momma.....that one had me rolling for some reason. And its not just because I'm in a chair with rollers...and I happen to be 5 and enjoy spinning in circles in it while yelling WEEEEEEEEE.

Umm....yeah...a bit too heavy on the caffeine today. Sorry.

No FB for the youngins. I'm with ya on that one. Auntie Duckaduck need to come down an smack some quackers around?

You're getting to meet TOM in person? So unfair! :>

Crispy Momma, lemme tell you, it's nasty here in NC, too. Not as bad as it could be, natch, but still ...

I am glad I don't need to have the conversation about social media being okay for me but not for kids.

But, no doubt, it is different. I'm an adult.

You're such a good momma!

I realized it was way too hot here in FL when I said it was cooler one day and I was celebrating the fact that the high was only in the low 90's! I'll start flagging Fall to come our way too -maybe we can peer pressure it into showing up?

I know, what is it with Facebook and preteens? The funny thing is, my one boy who is old enough to have a Facebook account, checked it last September and hasn't been back since.

I have already made it known to my almost 10 yr. old that she's not getting a facebook until facebook is no longer "cool." Period!

And I'll will some of the rain we had all day today your way!!! It was so hot here that the ground sighed when the first little drop fell!!! Hope it finds you soon!!!
