Think Tank Momma

Happy Weekend Smackers!

This Thursday's theme is in honor of The Duck, which is not to say we are cooking The Duck.  Rather, we are making comfort food because Lord knows it's been a rough week for my BF and her family.

So share your favorite comfort foods with us this week.  What do you make when you want something warm and homey?  Do you have a special go to meal you share with others in times of grief?  Anything special you prepare for your family when times are tough?

If so, link up and share some comfort in honor of my favorite fowl, The Duck! (Actually my favorite fowl is chicken but don't tell Duckalicious.  Shhh....she's a sensitive bird.)

My favorite is Barefoot Contessa's Roast Chicken. I stuff it with fresh herbs, lemon, garlic....and roast it w/ some veggies. Homemade challah, a tossed salad, and voila! My favorite comfort food meal!

Mmmmm yum! This will be a hard choice.

I was thinking for next week we should do crockpot recipes. I like to use the crockpot a lot in the summer so I dont make the house all hot with the oven.

I don't think I have the recipe for a freezer full of Girl Scout cookies or Ben & Jerry's, so I'd better come up with something else....
